Sell It In Sixty Seconds
Let's just say that, when a book is hyped up as much as this one, I get nervous it will fail me. This one right here, DESERVED the hype, the awards, the rave reviews. A twist at every corner, a book that will keep you guessing til the very last page. This is one in which you finish and you just sit there, almost startled, and thinking about it for a while. There isn't a book I can remember reading in recent times that kept me wanting to devour it more. And MIND YOU I have read some five star reads lately! But thrillers are different, they take you to a place where many people's minds don't often travel. I also think anyone who enjoys psychology, especially the psychology that goes into a relationship, will absolutely crave this one. [ahem, yes, i was a psych major]. Don't let the reviews scare you away, this is one that you need in your life. A palette cleanser from contemporary, or romance, or holiday reads. This author is now on my watch list. For life.
Quick Comment: If ever you've had a dilemma with how to feel about characters, especially main characters, this is it. Nick and Amy are each likeable to a point, and hate-able to a point. You'll see.
