Follow Friday!

Obviously I'm new to this, but I'm participating so I can find some great new book bloggers and people can find me!

The question from this weeks Follow Friday..

What is one thing you would tell your favorite author?
Ah! I have so many favorite authors I don't even know who to choose.  But I think I'm going to have to go with Suzanne Collins.  I would like to tell Miss Collins that she opened my eyes to teen fiction.  I used to only read adult books and hadn't read teen, since well, I WAS one!  But after reading The Hunger Games trilogy, I am aware of what wonderful literature exists in the teen section.  Because of her, I got to enjoy many other novels (such as Matched, Delirium, Pandemonium, etc.) So basically, I would like to thank her for making me open my eyes!

...And perhaps I'd throw in that I personally loved the ending of The Hunger Games :-)

  2. YA Lit has changed a lot since the days when I could actually call myself a young adult. :-) For me, it was Twilight that got me back into reading YA. I'm a huge fan of The Hunger Games, too.

  4. Seeing as I am still, well only just, a teenager, YA is what I read most often. Although I do sometimes venture into the adult books. Suzanne Collins introduced me to the world of Dystopia novels. It is now one of my favourite genres and I read so many of them. I love the Delirium series too :)
